That version is finished and stable (at least was for my old PC), but it 
gives limited color range and isn't a "grain merge", so I would use it for 
trunk. But isn't requires shaders (modern gfx).

These is also a completed version of shader-based TCMask (based on slightly 
modified Per's framework) which uses "grain merge" method. It was running 
smoothly last time I checked it month ago. I just need to sycn it with 
latest trunk (tomorrow, most likely)...

Any particular benefits from this one (in contrast of having a separated 
image aka TCMask)? It's just easier for me not to track some colors for 
while working with textures, but I guess there is nothing wrong with having 
alternatives...
