#1636: Design impossible in early Alpha missions

 Sorry if this has already been posted/fixed and I missed it; but in the
 early alpha missions, creating ANY design except rep turret/viper/wheels
 results in the design having tens of thousands of hp and power
 requirements to build. This has happened to me in 2 campaigns, but in the
 first it eventually stopped (after alpha 4, I think.) This makes it
 impossible to build anything but mach/vip/wheels because of the huge power
 requirements, and if you tweak the existing mach/vip/wheels or truck
 design, you get the same result. In the attached savegame, I've researched
 through mortar and half-tracks, and any combination I try, except for the
 one noted above, gives me disastrous results.
 I'm running OS 10.5.8, all settings in game are default except I switched
 the mouse buttons (so right-click has move functions) and I'm running
 1280x800 res. Thanks!
