#2563: text gets funky in Qt

I'm sorry, I can't explain how to reproduce this. Normally, it's after
playing a game, and attempting to host or join another without closing wz
1st. Under those circumstances closing wz, and then opening again will
clear the problem.
However, on a few rare occasions it's been a problem immediately after
launching wz. Closing, and reopening wz will correct it.
