#3694: No save game in campaign mode

Cannot save a game no matter what stage i am on. Tried at beginning of
stage, middle of stage and near the end of a stage. Tried this on all the
Alpha stages. Depressing to play for hour's only to find there is no save
function.
There is no save file or crash dump file.
Hopefully this will be looked at.
