#3812: Crash to desktop during multiplayer on Mac

I have hosted a skirmish game from my Win7 machine, and had a single
friend join the game from a Mac, OS X 10.8.2 . The game went well for a
while, about 30 minutes, then the friend's game crashed to desktop. We
tried again, it took 20 minutes to crash, next time 10, next time 8 (and
to break the rule, the fifth attempt lasted 47 minutes). I dont know if
the time is relevant, but perhaps by rushing the game in our retries, we
have somehow triggered the crash even sooner than the last time. The ping
was consistent at about 250ms. The Zzz icon briefly appeared on my side
(not even long enough to be read) while the 2+2=5 icon did not show at
all, and the gameplay itself was solid on both sides. This crash has
occurred only during the multiplayer, then again if this was a glitched
building, perhaps the singleplayer did not crash because such an advanced
building was not yet researched/made in singleplayer by my friend when he
gave it a shot. The Mac crash logs are available and seem to point at the
actual script that has crashed.
