Participant avatars not rendered in wave search panel

This wave [1] of waveinabox.net does not show the 3 typical avatars when listed
in the search panel. There is not even space for the avatar images to be
displayed: the wave title, small text preview, date and unread count uses up
all the width of the search panel.

The wave seems to be federated from other wiab instance and has "no
conversations" if the wave panel message is correct.
Not sure if any of this is normal, but I'm reporting just in case.
