I can image it is a cool idea to use wave to discuss things.
However I think for the moment, it is probably better to keep it in
this (public) mailinglist.

For one, not everyone has an account (me included).
One of the other reasons is that it keeps everything (including all
the discussions) public from the start.
And the mailinglist archive is also searchable by everyone ;)
