Do you consider implementing your robot utilizing a server-side XLink
spec?

XLink target site selection is based on XPath, so no 'anchors' on the
target document are needed.
And since a Wavelet is composed conceptually of conversation documents
that are themselves composed of just xml-docs-with-ids(blips),
for XLink to work, having addressable root-elements that contain all
those wavelets or blips would suffice.
