You won't be able to submit deltas (to a wavesandbox.com hosted wavelet) nor send delta updates (from a locally hosted wavelet) with a self-signed certificate. You will be able to receive updates from wavesandbox.comhosted wavelets though, since your own certificates aren't involved with that.
