I found that running XMPP server and wave server on Windows is very
slow. I think the Windows command prompt is very slow. Now I keep XMPP
running on a Windows machine and Wave server on a Linux machine, and
everything is a lot quicker! Even compiling the FedOne stuff on
Windows take more than 5 mins, compared to about less than a minute on
my Linux machine (I previously run FedOne on the same machine but on
Windows). Unbelievable. Initially I thought the connection between my
server and wavesandbox is slow because of the chatty XMPP protocol,
but apparently not...
