This project will require a good deal of effort and the input of a wide range of developers. That could easily be realised at Apache, as well as cross polination from and to other projects. Plus the Labs at Apache could be useful.
I for one like Wave for its possibilities in the area of collaboration between large numbers of autonomous agents and humans, not so interested in the social aspect.
