I'd spend the extra time explaining things to colleagues (and people/project I care about) why, I believe things, are wrong and/or should be avoided. People that want to see things as confrontational/conflict of interest/other will always something to latch on. The ones willing to learn and improve on themselves, will learn something new (be that me or them). > But yes, ultimately Bryce's decision (I'd hoped to see an Ack or two > from "outsiders" that saw this as at least somewhat useful though.) > > We're fine using this script privately if nobody else wants it - the > intent was to share it, not promote or force an undesirable workflow on > others. > Never mentioned or implied that that it's bad idea to have it and/or it's unwanted. I'm saying that one can do better, providing example(s) and reasoning. One can always do things their way. To top it up with another (cheesy) quote - "Hell... you can drive a car with your feet. That doesn't make it a good idea.". Yet regardless of arguments, some people think it's wise to do so :-( Emil _______________________________________________ wayland-devel mailing list wayland-devel@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/wayland-devel
