Just saw TV Land's new promo "Crazy About TV". The premise is to profile
ordinary people who's lives have been significantly affected by being
'crazy about TV'. This one featured David Browning as "professional
Barney Fife Imitator" Very cool!!!

I've been real busy as of late and have a TON of WBMUTBB to catch up on, so
maybe somebody's already mentioned these. If so please forgive. I noticed
the other day that a mayor (I think it was Mayor Pike) was on It's a
Wonderful Life. He was telling the Bailey boy to stop jawing and kiss Mary.
Man, it was funny. He said youth was wasted on the young. Funny stuff.
Also, the local station here in Duluth, MN shows an Elvis movie every Sat.
afternoon. Well, they showed Blue Hawaii last Sat. and Elvis' boss was none
other than Floyd! And his contenance was almost identical to Floyd. Man, I
almost fell about the place. He was so funny. What a character actor.
Y'all have a great holiday season. I get to fly home to High Point, NC.
Andy every day. YEE HAH!!!!

See Ya, Jim
There aught to be a number law against that.

A good way to find other shows and movies that actors have been in is the
Internet movie database. It's at imdb.com. Just type in the name of the actor
and it will give you a comprehensive list of tv shows and movies that
they''ve appeared in.It's great.

On the episode"Gomer Pyle,U.S.M.C." when at the first Gomorra told Andy he
joined the marine corps and he was about to leave he tripped before he left
the courthouse, was this a mistake.......or did he mean to do this?(because
he was between the age of 29 and 35)

Hello folks,

I was watching an episode of ADAM 12 a few days ago and I spotted Aneta
Corsaut ( Helen Crump ). You just never know when you'll spot them. I just
think it is interesting to know some of the various other shows that TAGS
stars appeared on. Does anyone knows if Aneta Corsaut appeared in any more
ADAM 12 shows?

The answer is: Aneta appeared in 3 episodes of Adam-12. She was introduced
in
the show's final season as Pete Malloy's steady girlfrien. Her first
appearance
had her speeding off in Pete's ugly yellow car. She next showed up for a
dinner
date with the Reeds (Jim and Jean). Finally, she was in the 2-part finale.
 In
the series, she had a young son named David (never seen) and was getting the
devoult bachelor Pete becoming uncharacteristically attached to the
possibility
of marriage.

Has anyone ever noticed that Mayor Pike on TAGS is also in the movie "It's a
Wonderful Life"? He is the man across the street that yells to George
Bailey(Jimmy Stewart) "Why don't you kiss her instead of talking her to
death", George replies "What" to which comes the same reply from Mayor Pike.
He then gets up, with pipe in hand and says "Ah, youth is wasted on the
young". I also came across another character in the movie from TAGS, Mrs.
Lesch, from the episode" Barney's first car". She is the lady at the Bailey
Building and Loan that asks for only $14.25, after Mary (George's wife)
offers their honeymoon money to keep the bank open. Also I wanted to ask,
isn't Nick the bartender one of the producers of TAGS Played by Sheldon
Leonard or am I wrong? Wishing all of you and your families a very Merry
Christmas and a Blessed New Year!!!!! Diana

Subject: Longest romance

The longest romance on TV is "Barney and Thelma Lou" they finally tied the
knot in "Mayberry reunion" but if you remember an episode of the Andy
Griffith show there was an episode where Barney and Andy had a reunion (This
was one of the color episodes) Thelma Lou came to the reunion with her
husband.
