Well, now, I can't hardly stand it any longer! We don't get TV Land and
I'm ready to ask my parents to tape some TAGS for me (they live down in
PA and they get it.) What is this about a TAGS special on TV Land next
weekend? Can someone please send me the details, like the exact date and

I am just wondering if anyone can answer a question regarding the TV
Land shows - I have taped every TAGS on TV Land at nite, from the 7 to
the 1 shows. If they are the same I discard one of them. Now with the
new lineup including the Inside TV Land show we do not get the lineup we
used to including Leave it to Beaver. Is this show going to continue
this schedule or is it just a special for a week or so. I miss the old
lineup with all the shows they offered expecially the 2 or 3 Andys.

1) I was down in my back the last several days (must be a touch of the
versitis) and got to watch lots of TAGS. I noticed, for the first time, the
newspaper that Andy was reading when Aunt Bee was telling him she had a date
(w/the butter and egg man). Sure 'nuf, it says "Airy." I thought it might
be "aily" with the 'D' missing since the paper was folded - - as in
"Mayberry Daily News" - - but after rewinding and rerewinding, it was
definitely "Airy" ('Daily' wouldn't have the 'A' capitalized).
2) In the episode where Goober stays with the Taylors, thinking he has
whiplash after the lady rammed into the back of the car, there is a scene
where Opie is reading a comic book to Goob. Goob says "What happens next?"
and the camera goes back to Opie. His lips are moving (just for 3, mayber 4
syllables) but no sound is coming out. Then a new sentence starts and you
hear him. What was he saying when his lips were moving? Was a scene cut
out? Anybody ever notice that?

A friend of mine was mentioning to some of us that he had gone to a
church retreat at the YMCA Camp in Estes Park, CO. I tried to keep from
chuckling as I got to thinking that a weekend retreat at the Y would be
something Barney would really like--especially if he got the corner room.

if you like to see tags folks on other shows, the real Mccoys have as many as
three or four characters on some shows. tbs network airs the show daily. hope
