What I mean is I've got two of his JL-327 plates, a front one and a back one, and now alls I need is them parts that go in between. Hey if Goober can put a car in the courthouse, I should be able to handle this one. I'm not on the payroll or anything (Am I Phil?) I just wanted to tell you that like Gomer, they're nice, real nice. Getcha' one or two. You can see the complete list of episodes at the following web address: http://epguides.com/Salvage1/ I thought this was a pretty good show, but then again, I enjoy sleeping. It was a midseason addition starting in January 1979. Then it started It's second season in the fall of 1979 and was canceled before the end of the year. Or maybe they were referring to the low country boils our kin in Savannah have for us when we visit; they're done by layering onions, potatoes, corn on the cob, shrimp, crab legs, and sausages in a huge pot on an outdoor fire with salt and spices thrown in. Does anyone have another impression or experience. As for superstitious funny sayings, we say "Pinch, poke, you owe me a coke" when another person says the same thing you do at the same time. Anybody else heard this? Aunt Bee of Orlando P.S. Many thanks to Harvey Bullock for his enjoyable tidbits; I loved them. ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! He was wounded and brought into the 4077th. They found out that he'd lied about his age, so they sent him back home when he recovered. He was too young. I say it was a little Andy , and a little Sanford and Son.(for the junkyard part) meeting up with NASA. It lasted most of 1 season. It was drama comedy adventure. They pulled down a dead satellite of solid made of gold. broke a iceburg to solve a water shortage. These still pop up, since the pilot and a two part story are still shown because of Andy's popularity. A little science, drama, comedyand both working with and keeping ahead of government agencies. It was a wierd mix for a that never really got off the ground. Andy's not a Junk Dealer Astronaut, but he did play one on tv. :) DB ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 Sep 2000 20:33:11 -0400 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Question on Guillain Barre, misc. wbmutbb-digest wrote: Can someone tell me exactly what is Guillain Barre Syndrome? I heard recently that poor Andy has it. Also, regarding an episode recently on TVLand, the one where an old girlfriend of Andy's comes back to Mayberry and Helen is extremely jealous, but Howard Sprague also has a huge major crush on Andy's former beau. Goob makes a statement at the end of the show that really hit home. He mentioned he read where a schoolteacher claimed she was from Kansas but was really from another planet. Well, I believe I had an alien teacher this past summer. He was my Precalculus teach. I never could understand his French west indies accent. My luv to Goober. However it was successful, so ABC put it on the air. It ran for 11 months from January to November 1979. It starred Andy as Harry Broderick. He was the owner of Jettison Salvage. Skip was a former NASA astronaut (played by Joel Higgins who was later on Silver Spoons) and Melanie as his chemist (she'd previously been on a soap opera). ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 16 Sep 2000 21:18:29 EDT From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: fandemonium I REALLY loved the TAGS weekend over labor day. This weekend I'm watching the one with Dick Van Dyke. TAGS is the greatest show of all time. DVD is second. They were both produced by Desilu in Association with Danny Thomas. It's amazing all the actors who appeared in TAGS and DVD. And just like TAGS, many, many people played several characters on that show too! P.S. How's the fund raising coming for the All Andy channel? Have we hit $10 yet? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 17 Sep 2000 21:03:15 EDT From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: wbmutbb-digest V2 #318 IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING TICKETS TO THE 2000 MAYBERRY DAYS SHOWS SPECIFICALY DOUG DILLARD CONCERT ON SEPT 29 & TAGSRWC DINNER AND MEETING SEPT 30 & COLONEL TIM'S TALENT TIME SEPT 30, I HAVE SOME AVAILABLE.
