Just had to pop in for a Christmas Day visit and announce (with no small
measure of glee) that I received the glorious "Mayberry Memories" book as a
gift from a co-worker. Suffice to say I have spent the better part of the
afternoon losing myself among its pages. Think I'll go set out on the front
porch after Christmas dinner (it's warm enough to do that here in So. Cal.),
and see if I can peel one o' them Christmas apples without breakin' the
peel.

Merry Christmas, and lots of luck to you and yours.

Okay Lou Anne, I mean Miss Poovey- with or without Aunt Bee - I'm a goner.
Hand me a kleenex, please.

Thanks for the nice Christmas story.

Just saw a repeat of the tv show BECKER. Michael J. Pollard ( cousin
Virgil and Bonnie and Clyde fame ), had a small part. He was totally
white haired, but you could recognize that voice.

You and Miss Boyle are what make Christmas what it always should be. It
sounds so boring to say the same thing over and over but this bears
repeating. It's not about what you get but what you give and you gave much,
much more than a coat to that little boy. I hope Bobbie grew up to realize
that.
Many blessings for the New Year!!

Hey folks,

I just finished another new feature for the TAGSRWC web site that I thought
you might like to know about.

There's a complete listing of all 1163 chapters of TAGSRWC that you can
search. Each field of the database can be searched and I think you'll find it
easier to located chapters near you.

http://mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/anewsome/private/searchchapters.htm

That link will take you to the database or you can get that by going to the
TAGSRWC web site
   http://mayberry.com/tagsrwc/
and then going to the "Chapter List" link in the left hand menu frame.

I hope this is useful to folks.

Subject: TAGS sightings

Over the holidays I have been watching some old
movies, and lo and behold I saw three characters from
TAGS. I was watching "Niagara" with Marilyn Monroe
and Joseph Cotten, and saw the original Ben Weaver,
(he worked at the boat dock) the little shoplifting
lady "that should'nt have clanked" (Lurene Tuttle) and
also the district attorney in the episode where Aunt
Bee is a juror. I was so excited to find three
characters in one movie, I've read where others have
done this, but this is the first time I have done it.
I hope all your holidays have been wonderful so far.
As you enjoy all your holiday goodies remember: "eatin
speaks louder than words". Anita
