Howard,
TAGS has moved to 7-8 p.m. And on a non-TAGS
note. Thank goodness M*A*S*H moved on FX from 7-8 to
8-9. Now I can still watch both. Now, if remember
correctly, too. It, TAGS, also comes on @ 10 p.m. and
lasts until 11 p.m. now.
Also, I believe that March 10 & 11 is gonna be the
TVLand Fandomonium weeekend for TAGS. Anyone, please
correct if I'm wrong on that date.
Mr. Schwump

Were my eyes deceiving me or was our dear Charlene playing another girl on
Friday's
color episode about Goober having used a dating "service" to find a girl
friend/date?
This COLOR episode was one of the ones I truly enjoyed; so was the episode
of Aunt Bee flying the plane.
Now, there; I have two more favorite color episodes to add to my small (BUT
GROWING) list of color ones that I like...

Thanks for the info Dixon,.. I have seen the stage play version
(U.S.Steel Hour). It's available for rental at my local video store. I
have also seen the movie. I was not aware that the project was a TV
series, .....interesting! I am sure "GOMER PYLE USMC" has to be at
least partially based on "NO TIME".

Hey!
I am still watching every day for my very favorite episode: #116 "The Song
Festers", but it never comes on (I check tvguide.com to see which episodes are
coming up, too). I don't believe it is available for purchase, either. Does
anyone have it? I will gladly pay for it. I just love the way Barney tries so
hard to be in the choir, and Gomer graciously feigns laryngitis, and the
kindness that is shown by Gomer. Even though no one sees Barney so down but
Gomer, Gomer is so unselfish he is willing to give up the spotlight for Barney.
Thanks!!

Just wanted to drop a note to welcome all the new members of the digest! I
really enjoyed reading all about you and hope you enjoy the digest as much as
I do. I was quite surprised to see the ages of some of the young members. I
think it is great they love the show and it is far better to be watching a
show like TAGS than some of the shows that we can tune in to today. Rena
Johnson..you sound like a hoot! Good luck with whatever you pursue girl!
Take care everyone......

Hey ya'll,
I was watching the episode where Barney arranges for
Andy and Helen to go on a picnic at the lake and Goob
comes over to give them a ride. Goober tells them
about the movie "Picnic" and how he takes off on Cary
Grant..."Judy Judy Judy" Andy and Helen tell Goober
that Cary Grant wasn't in Picnic William Holden was in
Picnic and when Goober says he could'nt do William
Holden cause he talks like everybody else I thought I
would die. Now thats good TV!!!
See Ya,
Z-man
They asked me to stay and have a sandwich.

Subject: Johnny & Tom plus murder
Regarding Johnny Coons and Tom Jacobs, in the episode Goober takes a car
apart, 3 men are seen outside the courthouse when Andy comes back. 1 man
has grey hair and mustache, white hat w/ dark band, white shirt open at the
neck w/ a white t-shirt underneath, and a windbreaker. He says, "How did
they do it, Sheriff?" The 2nd man has a suit, tie and hat. He is younger
than the 1st man but heavy set w/ a kind of Edward G. Robinson look. He is
seen looking in the door to Andy's right w/ man #1 looking over his head.
The 3rd man also has a suit, tie and hat. He is thin w/ a very thin dark
mustache. He is standing in the back of the crowd.
3 men are listed in the credits as follows:
Man 1= Stanley Farrar
Man 2= Johnny Coons
Man= Tom Jacobs
Which is which???????
Now to murder - My 4 year old son calls Ben Matlock, Mr. Murder whenever we
watch the show which thankfully now comes on everyday at 2pm & 10pm on
Raleigh channel 40. I said that's Andy and Brian (He's my son) said his
last name is Andy and his first name is Mr. Murder.
Love, Maria
