Welcome to all the new neighbors, and especially to Chad from Indy. I'm
Kathy from Bloomington. Wanted to let you know that if you don't make it to
the Mayberry Cafe in Danville, at least you could make it down to Bloomington
to eat at Opie Taylors! :-)

Saturday on Leave It To Beaver Ward Cleaver sang a little of "Juanita" a
couple of times. He didn't sing it with the gusto that Barney does, but he
did it justice.

Fellow Tags Fans
I am delighted than TV Land is airing my favorite episode Monday, "The Ole
Ball Game." I have been trying to find the episode for at least 10 years. It
features one of the funniest and greatest performances by Howard
McNear(Floyd) at the start of the show. Its so sad Howard left us too soon
in 1969. Thank God there is TV Land , the many TAGS fan clubs and of course
the unforgettable cast and crew.
Best wishes to you and yours,

I would to take a minute to welcome all the new members to the digest. I
especially would like to welcome "Stevelo 88" as I happen to know this guy.
He is a nice guy with a very sweet wife and little girl. I am always glad to
see others as crazy about TAGS as I am. He sounds like he has the same idea
about Mayberry as I do. I could watch it 24/7 although my family wouldn't
agree to that. ha So again welcome to all and enjoy the digest.

Thanks, Frank for sharing your insight on our beloved Mayberry. I couldn't
have said it better. Your sentiments are lovely.
One thing though, if we DO get to build our own Mayberry one day I don't want
to help move the bandstand. You know, it's dark under there...could be
spiders!

Here's another idea on that subject: E-mail Emmett at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] We now have over 900 TAGS wavs on file. You could
invent your own phone message. I use the one mentioned, myself. Folks
love it when they call our house and get that message on the machine, "
Mayberry Sheriffs office........" I just add my own little message at the
end, then the wav, "And to think I was glad when you learned to talk."

I am new to this site and love it! I am fascinated with the street
scenes, buildings and layout of the town. I am looking for any help in
locating pictures of exterior shots of buldings (espicially those of
downtown buildings rarely filmed. My goal is to build a scale model of
the town of Mayberry for my train collection. I will pay for any
assistance. Thank you, Steve

Subject: TAGS trading cards
Hey Gang,
We had my daughters birthday party this past Saturday and I got a little
suprise. My brother-in-law brought me a "complete set" on TAGS trading
cards. They are made by Pacific Trading Cards, Inc. in Lynnwood, WA. He
found them at an estate sale and bought them for something like $2 or $3.
Anyway, I have a couple of questions I hope you guys can answer. The first
is, howmany cards are in the set? I have noticed a couple of duplicates in
what I have and qould like to know if it is a complete set for sure. The
second is, do they have any kind of value? I don't plan on getting rid of
them since I'm such a fan but would just like to know. If anyone can help or
knows where I can find the info, please post it on the digest or you can send
it directly to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks in advance for the help!

Subject: Song Request
Hi,
Just want to say that I was overwhelmed at the kindness of members of
our wonderful group who very quickly replied to my request for
information about the song, "My Home Town" used on the A.G.S. Once again
I've witnessed the attitude that I believed only existed in the beloved
but fantasy town of Mayberry. May it live forever in the hearts of
people such as I've had the pleasure to met here
