I to, have noticed the prices through the years. I don't know who was
responsible, but they must have known how long TAGS would live on!

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I saw where actor Owen
Bush died recently, and among his many credits was TAGS. Could anyone tell
me what role(s) he might have played? Thanks! :-)

Hi Larry, I'll tell you where I got that from. In an episode where Barney
vacations in Raleigh (just go, go, go all the time. The phone down at the
end of the hall (at the YMCA) just rings all the time) he says that in a
letter to the fellas back home at the end of it and Andy reads it to Goober
or Floyd I think. I've never heard 'bout the "on the animal side though".
Sounds like a nice and funny Dad.

Subject: TAGS in the movies

I took my wife to the movies last night. As I am watching the previews, I
think about our favorite show. "Well, there won't be any Andy Griffith Show
ties in this film" I think as we prepare for Captain Corelli's Mandolin. No
Ron Howard voice like I heard in Osmosis Jones. No Clint Howard appearance,
as in so many Ron Howard films. No Rance Howard mystery appearances. Just
Nick Cage, Penelope Cruz and a good war film depicting a Greek Island in
1940. Then, to my surprise two thirds of the way through, there it was!
Right from the Andy Griffith Show...an unmistakable throwback, a piece of
music.. a song that would make any Griffith fan take notice. You don't have
to be a magician like Paul Mulik or John Masters to catch it (you know
those musically-declined types that can name a waltz that Mr. Schwamp is
dancing to in a heartbeat). What is it? I don't want to spoil the surprise
for those who may see the movie..but I'll give you a hint..it is not
"I'm sorry I broke your heart mother" or "Bar-ney's in Jail Barn -ney's in
jail!" and it ain't "Dooley" OK that's all the hints.
Don't go just for the song...but if you happen to go to the movie...listen
carefully, and be ready to sing along. If you have a guess, or if you saw
it also, you may Email me for confirmation.

Welcome to all new members. Hope you find this to be a "friendly sort of
town", that would even please Ellen Brown1

I can't stop singing that song myself because, after all, I have:

Hey Folks,

Had the chance over the Labor Day weekend to watch a
series of "Beach Party" movies staring Annette and
Frankie Avalon.

Who do I spot playing the part of "Erik von Zipper"
the head motorsickle bad guy? You guessed it, Flora.

The movie was tittled "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini".

The funny part was, as soon as I recognized Flora, I
paid more attention to the movie.

Great to see TAGS stars when your not expecting it.

That's all I could find on him. What a voice, and a
great character actor.

Does anybody know where to buy copies of Thad Cox Mayberry theme prints? I
located the following link on a web page called Mayberry Street but it
doesnt work:

"GTC Artwork features the water color paintings of artist Thad Cox. The
beauty with which Thad captures some of our favorite scenes from Mayberry is
amazing. Drop in and tell Thad "hey" and check out his gallery."

I didn't get any other hits for Thad Cox, the artist.

Hep me, hep me!

We still have plenty of WBMUTBB Chapter mousepads so if any of you would like
