TAGS fans,
I am a big fan of both TAGS and the Waltons. Last night, while
watching "Barney's Frist Car", my wife and I started laughing as we
pictured what Grandma Walton would have to say about such a sinner as
Hubcaps Lesch.

Subject: TAGS sighting
I was watching "Tattletales" on Game Show Network yesterday and spotted Ken
Berry and his wife Jackie Joseph, who played Ramona "Romeena" Ankrum in "My
Fair Ernest T. Bass". I never knew they were married! Does anyone know if
they are still together? (Almost afraid to ask, Hollywood marriages being
what they are, and all)

In this time of tragedy,
I also escaped a little into
the euphoria of Mayberry in between
watching the news. While I was watching,
with the possibility of our nation going to
war, others like myself ( US Air Force)
are ready to defend our flag and
country. I tried to think what citizens
of Mayberry did their time in
the Armed Services.
Bernard P. Oliver Fife:
Served in the Army at the PX,
in charge of books.
Gomer Pyle USMC:
Marine Grunt, got promoted recently.
Goober Beasley Pyle:
Served in the Army. That's where he learned
how to say "Yo." Famous in platoon for his
"secret family sauce".
"Quiet" Sam:
Served in the "War", soon after,
suspectedly started growing "wacky weed".
Dud Wash:
US Army. Specialized in hand-to-hand combat.
(You want your face to freeze that way!)
Strange boy that moves to Mayberry:
US Army. Decided to make Mayberry his
hometown. Lucky enough to court
Lucy Matthews (va-va-VOOM!)
MILO BOYS-
WWII.
Anyone know anymore?
GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I think an appropriate TAGS reference at this time
would be from Barney Fife, during the cave resuce
episode:
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid
of their neighbor"
There was 1 TAGS reference to Islam, when the Morrison
sisters sold hooch to that guy because it was
Mohammads' birthday.

it is called" Giving Thanks" If its the one I am thinking of, does it have
a woman and a man in the wheat field and they are bowing their heads? If so
thats what it is called, I have the same picture in My dinning room. Well,

I just wanted to thank everyone for the unbelievable response on what I think
is a great item to add to your "Mayberry" collection. I do want to let those
that have sent payment know that due to the grounding of the flights which
produced a slow down in Priority Mail delivery, I am not mailing them out
until Monday and Tuesday of next week (September 17 and 18). Thanks again!
You're a Prince!

I will only say this and let you decide for yourselves. I sent the seller an
e-mail asking these 3 questions.
Is this a model that was available in the early sixties?
Is it just a box or is the model included?
What is the item number on the box?
His response gave the same information that was in the description, so it
seemed to me that he was not lying, just withholding information.

Was watching this episode recently on TVLand and they
ommitted the part when Andy doubts Opie's story and
Opie looks up at Andy with "puppy dog eyes" and says
"You believe me doncha Pa?".Just about tore me
up.Course with all this that has happened this
week, emotions for everybody are stretched to the
limit.I just pray that this something good come out of
it,people getting their priorities in order and what's
important in life-God,family country.Oh,if we could go
back to the way things were when I was growing up like
Mayberry and those values it taught on every TAGS
.Let's pray for a renewal of our country, our leaders
and for the precious live that have been lost.
GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!!!!!! and yes I know that all
caps are like shouting.PRAISE GOD!I FEEL LIKE
