At the railroad station when the a sign indicated the poulation was 5000
I did not realize it was that large. When the train came in it was
shown as Union Pacific. At that time the further east that railroad

Hey all:
I haven't posted in a while, but I sure have enjoyed everyone's thoughts. It
is very difficult to pick any one one-liner to be my favorite. The one I use
most often is
"You beat everything, you know that"

Re Message # 7
In E;pisode# 9, Andy mentions the Snappy Lunch as one of his favorite
places to eat.
It refers to a REAL cafe that has been in existence in Mount Airy since 1923,
At the beginning, you had to stand at the counter to eat - but now, their
delightful food is available from 6 AM to 1:30 PM and seats are provided.
Charles Dowell, the owner for many years, is proud of the fact that a
family of 4 can eat there for under $10.
The Snappy Lunch is not to be missed when you are in Mount Airy - Andy
Griffith's hometown - He Ate There Too!

Since I interpreted the "game" to mean we are supposed to just tell
our favorite one line and the others are supposed to remember the episode by
that line. (i.e., no set up is needed) Here is mine:
"That's definitely not a boy!"

two of Barneys one liners always get me cause they are both almost the same.
One is
"Aint you ever seen a man take off a dress"
and
"Aint you ever seen anybody take a dog for a ride"
Both are delivered in the typical deadpan Barney way that is so funny.
Sorry to have to bring up two of em but I thought they kinda went together.

Nope, Lindey Loo, you're not alone out here in the West, though you're a mite
farther west than I. There are several of us in this region who have been
diehard TAGS fans for years. Welcome aboard!

One that I use all the time when I see a person all gussyed up is
I loved that episode where Andy and Elly fake the store robbery as mentioned
before
and Barney runs up to Andy while Andys playing his guitar and shows him his
picture
and Andy says "You'll have more women flockin around you than chickens
around a june-bug"
