I don't want to get a rude, but just for the record, that was Ernest T.'s
explanation of why he lost out on the sublimely beautiful girl with the French
name, Hogette Winslow. :)

Can anyone even begin to imagine a PC on Andy's desk?

Hi all,
I think that the Andy sighting was just awesome. I would love to have a
chance like that. I'm going to go to Manteo one of these days, but for Andy's
sake I hope we don't all go on the same day!
God Bless

Hey Everybody!
Its not too soon to start thinking about Mayberry Days!! Its a real Hoot! I
never miss it. Too bad Andy and Don Knotts do not attend. It would really
be special. Maybe Don will one of these days but her Andy rarely leaves
Manteo..and is quoted saying he would never go to those things. I guess he
is not happy with his appearance now compared to his days on the Andy
Griffith Show. Doesnt he know we would all just LOVE to see him there??

I was just thinking about the use of triples in the scripts. I came up with
3 real quick.
- Leonard Blush, Leonard Blush, is that all you ever think about, Leonard
Blush?
- Jubal, Jubal, Jubal (said with a silly grin)
- Nate Bracey, Nate Bracey, Nate Bracey!
Anybody got others?

Actually, he was talking about Hogette Winslow after he threw a rock through
her window and busted her head.

Hi Everybody-
I heard a line awhile back that COULD have been used in a
TAGS episode...this sounds like where I grew up:
"I grew up so far out in the sticks we had to walk toward
town to go huntin'"
(and a couple of real ones:)
"and to think I was glad when you learned to talk"
"It was the liver paw...she looked right at the liver and
started cryin'"

Subject: David Lewis: The Sermon for Today
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
It's a shame that actor David Lewis, who portrayed Dr. Harrison Everett Breen
on the TAGS episode 'The Sermon for Today', couldn't get his 'What's Your
Hurry' sermon to work for the inmates of Gotham State Penitentiary. Remember,
he also played Warden Crichton on 'Batman.' While circumvently and indirectly
his sermon worked for the residents of Mayberry, those villains on 'Batman'
wouldn't listen to him at all. They were in a hurry to bolt out of that
place.
What's your hurry? ! ! !

Just a question I forgot to ask, does anyone know where you can find Andy's
movie "An Angel In My Pocket"? I've been looking for it without much luck
seems to be kind of hard to find. I've never seen it but it just seems like
it would be a good one, of course with Andy in it! Has anyone else seen it ?
What did you think of it? Thanks much and have a happy "Mayberry" day!
Susie ( sorry didn't mean to sound so formal when I signed Ms. Small last
time that's just a nickname, wasn't thinking )

One that I can't believe that hasn't been listed yet is "It's me, It's me,
It's Ernest T. I use that one a lot in my everyday conversations.

My favorite one liner (at least one of them) "Pudding tame, ask me again,
I'll tell you the same. A real gut buster for me.
An earlier post came from Utah, Farr West I think. I'm from Hooper so E-mail
me and we can talk some. Sorry I don't remember your name. I accidentally
deleted that edition.

Dear Friends: I do enjoy the digest... however, I can't resist correcting
little things. I think its a compelshun!
Paul, I always thought it was root beer floats that Barney was guzzlin' not
milkshakes
>>And...one of my favorites..."Look Ellie....if you don't give it to
me....I'll just get it somewhere's else!" (Milkshake!)<<
and
Roller Dog, It was Hogette (Barney: Nice name. Ernest T: It's French) and
not Roomena who married the taxidermist.
>>"she married the taxidermist what sowed up her haid !"
Earnest T explaining why he no longer courts his beloved Roomena.<<
Sorry, for being so picky. Somebody please correct me if I've got it wrong.
Have a happy Mayberry day.

Folks I wish it were I who had the chance meeting with Andy,
but as we all know he is VERY protective of his privacy and
does not sign autographs. There have been folks who have had there
feelings hurt by chance meetings like my friend Steve had.
I would not reccommend following Andy or any person of notoriety
because as with even us common folk, If we think someone is following us we
go on a defensive mode, because there are unfortunately people
out there who intend to inflict harm.
Steve was extremely fortunate enough to have two wonderful encounters
with Andy.
Those who missed the Michael Hoover show in Oakboro, missed the Best
E impersonator, I believe he is coming back Oct. 13 and this show
will most likely be sold out.
"Best of luck to you and yours
Phil

I think if you add an egg to a malted milk it makes it creamier, and
smoother. My mother always added an egg to the ground beef when she was
making hamburgers. We had the creamiest, smoothest hamburgers you ever
tasted.
