I think there are two episodes where men (or boys) appear without a shirt
on. The episode where Briscoe "declares for Aunt Bee," and the episode
where Aunt Bee buys the beef from a "strange" butcher! "Call the MAN!"
I can't think of any more....can you folks?

Hey Carolyn, tell us more about your WBMUTBB costume! I put together an
Aunt Bee costume but have not yet had an occasion to wear it. I'm
interested in hearing about yours.

Hi gang,
We've got a locally produced half-hour PBS tv show in
INDPLS, titled 'ACROSS INDIANA'. Each week they
feature a small town in IN.
This week's small town was Albion, IN. 'ACROSS
INDIANA' referred to Albion as 'The Mayberry of the
Midwest'. Complete with Floyd's, Barney, Juanita.
Made me long for our Mayberry.

My son and his wife were in town for Memorial Day. So
we went out for dinner. I can't remember what prompted
me to think of it, but I referred to the clock Barney
has inside!

I know we should be positive but I have to second the BOO , Hiss on
Batman. Also I now have to put up with Dennis the Menace
Do not mean to be critical but I need a Mr. CooKieBar to get
through the evening without Andy. I hope in time TVLand will
.reshuffle the shows again. Hey if you like Batman and Dennis
that is great. Do not want to upset the apple cart.

Hello Everyone,=0D
I'm sure this question has been asked before, but if so, I missed it=

I was just wondering if anyone has ever read anything about why Andy smok=

on the show. It wasn't very often and when he did it was only a few puff=

I just wondered why they would put it in TAGS. I never saw any of the ot=

and the place. I will be coming up on Saturday the 20'th for the autograph

TVLand teased the appearance of the voiceover announcer on the episode last
night (Andy and Helen go out to Myers Lake, are driven carzy by Barney and
end up at the Justice of the Peace in Siler City for fishing without a
license. Actually a justice of the peace is a county office, but that's
irrelevant, much like the Sheriff of Mayberry reporting to the Mayor, but
on with the story.) Goober misstates Andy's need for $25 and Barney thinks
A and H are getting married. Questions: Why did TV Land tease the announcer
voiceover when there was none? What years was the voiceover actually on the
BW episodes?
Howard Morris played the TV repairman and was a voice on the radio several
times (Leonard Blush, inter alia), other than playing Ernest T.
Who cleaned up the rice at the Justice of the peace's Office? Just a thought.
Best of luck to you and yours.

That would be because the MAN who does the voice overs ("The Andy Griffith
Show, starring, Andy Griffith...." ) was the game warden that took Andy and
Helen in.

Just a quick question: Has anyone seen Don & Tim perform together in
their 2-man show? I'd love to hear about it... what kind of stuff they
did, etc.
Thanx and all the best to you an' yers...

Odd Facts Known By Few
from Barnard P. Fife
Hey, Andy. Listen to this I found in my 'Read a Fact' magazine. It says:
ALL OUT OF SORTS
In printer's lingo, a 'sort' was a substitution - an upside
down M for a W or vice versa, an upside down p for a d.
If you were "all out of sorts," you were out of alternate
possibilities.
Bet you never heard that have ya'?
Nope, never have. But you know something else.
What?
Readin' to yourself is good for your voice box.
Boy, I hate it when you're obtuse!!
