I'M SORRY!! My posting re Mayberry Days came through with a LONG
"signature" that I use only with my speaking presentation clients.
I had Deliberately Changed my settings to have NO Signature appear - and
typed in the two line reference to the title of the book and it's
availability at Weavers. That was All that was supposed to show up.
I apologize for the error. I have just rechecked my settings and they show
all signatures Turned Off.
Surely hope it works right this time!

If there is anyone out there that has any extra pieces (Buildings, figures,
School Bus, Squad Car, Etc.) that The Hawthorne Company made and discontinued
making a few years ago ( of the Mayberry Set) , please contact me if you are
willing to sell. Thanks and "Goober says Hi!"
Hi Guys,
I have the whole set but I don't really want to sell. I got a lot of my last
pieces from www.ebay,com.
just type in Hawthorne Mayberry and there is usually a few pieces for sale.
Right now there is a courthouse for sale. Just keep looking every few days.
Good Luck

I sure would enjoy the two tapes and 29 episode that you have doubles of. I
recently just joined TAGS and just wrote in that first time and just read what
everyone else writes in. If I am selected, please let me know the cost and I
will be happy to pay of course.
Right now, we are going back and forth to Mayo's every two weeks for awhile
and then every 28 days after that. I am on a trial for a new drug to see if
it will take down this multiple myeloma cancer that I have. This is the last
drug left for me and then there is nothing else that can be done. So, if you
feel like it and I know you must be a nice person, would you give me a prayer
or two that this new drug works. Thank ya, thank ya and thank ya. ML (I
live in the middle of Illinois--corn country and the home of Mitsubishi and
beer nuts) ! ha

I awoke this morning at about 6:10 a.m. after such a vivid dream;I have to
share it with the Digest. There was this long table with Hollywood
celebrities sitting behind it. Seated at about the middle of the table was
Elaine Joyce, a.k.a. Mavis Neff from the TAGS episode 'Helen the Authoress'
and the Don Knotts film 'How to Frame a Figg.' They weren't really eating and
not really signing autographs. She looked like she did when she appeared on
'Match Game' in the mid 1970s.

I can't get my web designer to upload the pictures I sent her of this year's
Mayberry Days, so I went ahead and posted the story with file photos. If she
ever gets the new photos up, I will let you know so those who want to see them
can enjoy them!

I remember there being a surprise party for Barney after he caught Eddie
Brooks. It took place at the Taylor house.
There was the "Mayberry Guest of Honor" for Founders' Day where Mr. Moody
acted "rotten".
There was a celebration when Otis was found to be a relative of Nathan Tibbs.
There was the surprise party for Andy and Helen ( along with the redecorated
bedroom) when Barney thought they had gotten married.
Then there was the birthday party for Otis during " The Inspector " episode.
That's all I can think of....

Susan, thanks ever so much for the reply to my request for help with the
Hawthorne Mayberry Memorabilia. The only one you have that we need is "the
Courthouse" , if you have an extra one of those. If you do, please send me an
e-mail with your price , plus postage. Thanks again and "Say Hi to Goober".

Happened to catch episode #1 of Superman this weekend. Who should be
Superman's first "save" when he comes to Metropolis? None other than Dabs
Greer (Mr. Sims who wants to buy Andy's house). I kid you not, but they had
Dabs falling from a dirigible when Superman caught him.
