He had the URL copied twice, with a digit or two too many.

Hey All,
Just a quick question, when is the first time Barney is said to have moved
to Raleigh, which episode? Is he ever reffered to as traveling after his
last episode, before they say he has left?

Could be, even TV Land pointed out that gaffe. Then again, I have always
noticed how suspiciously that road looks like Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood,
from my trip there. I think I even visited that gas station (it's actually a
Texaco) and it took longer to find someone to take my money for my gas than
it ever would have at Wally's!

I appreciated Dixon pointing out that Ed Sawyer (Stranger in Town) and
Chester Wanamaker of "Newhart" were played by the same actor, William
Lanteau. I pride myself on being a trained noticer, but I must admit I
never put the two characters together. This is doubly embarrassing for me
as Newhart is probably my second-favorite show after TAGS.
Here's a question on which hopefully someone can offer an answer or opinion:
Are actors Ken Berry (Sam Jones) and Jack Burns (Warren Ferguson) involved
in any TAGS tours or reunions? Just curious as I never see, hear or read
them mentioned as part of a TAGS-related alumni appearance.

>>>On the Andy of Mayberry show that was on E! (for once they showed
something decent) it was mentioned that Andy had married college sweetheart,
Barbara Edwards. I believe on TAGS it was once mentioned that Andy's fifth
grade girlfriend was named Barbara Edwards. Would any of you trained
noticers care to confirm or dispute this?
Barbara Edwards was Andy Griffith's first wife. When he was just starting
out in show business, the two of them did and act together (she was a
dancer, I think). She appears in the TAGS episode "The Song Festers" as a
choir member named Sharon.
There's no doubt that the character of Barbara Edwards was named after
Andy's wife. Many characters were named after real people who were friends
or family writers of the cast and/or crew.

Did any of you who have AOL catch the story recently about the stuff that had
been confiscated at airports sense 9-11? I believe it was upwards of 15,000
knives, around 10 guns and 1 brick. Of course when I saw that a brick had
been confiscated I couldn't help but wondered if it was Earnest T. Bass!

Land. These are certainly the best ones(first 5 years) and my definite
favorites. Thanks again.
