I noticed on the Guitar Player episode that Jim
mentioned Winston-Salem. Was that the only reference
to this town? Or maybe he meant cigarettes! Also,
didn't Bobby Fleet's clarinet player look like Harry
James? And besides Jim horrible guitar faking, and
somehow playing lead & rythym simultaneously (a la
Chet Atkins), I noticed that Bobby (Freddie's brother)
couldn't keep time, while snapping his fingers in the
cell. Some bandleader.

Hello All!
I was at a 'Cracker Barrel' restaurant over the weekend. There I
spotted a 'cute' little ornament. It is a sky blue ceramic mini T.V. set
(very retro) with Andy & Barney on the screen. $5.99 plus they had 25%
(or was it 20%) off all Christmas stuff. It's the perfect stocking
stuffer (or just get one for yourself like I did *wink*) for the TAGS
lover in your life. I don't know if all of the 'Cracker Barrel's have
them, but it's worth a check. I picked mine up at the one in Clemmons,
NC.

Yep, Thelma Lou "met" Barney at Wilton Blair's funeral in 1960. I
always figured that she knew who Barney was in school, but because of
his status, most certainly, as a Big Man On Campus she didn't really get
to know him until that chance meeting many years after high school.
