Yesterday I was on a businesses Conference call with about 60 people. When there are that many people, you are instructed to keep your phone on "mute" unless you are the one speaking. Invariably someone forgets, and you hear some background noise. On this particular call, two women were apparently sitting on one office talking to each other. They left their phone/speakerphone wide open and we could hear their chatter/gossip. Several times the person actually supposed to be talking admonished them to put their phone on mute, but they were so engaged in their conversation, and oblivious to the call that they did not hear. It got funnier and more disruptive as time went on. I wanted to shout out "Its only the Mendlebright sisters. This is the only chance they get to talk" but I wasn't brave enough. It was hilarious. So, you see Mr. Tucker, even in the 21st Century..two gabbers can hold up the world of business. I just decided to try to peel an apple into one piece.
Josie Lloyd??? She doesn't mind a few Newspapers or letters about here, but she can' stand the internet. In fact she hates the computer, especially the "back"space and online "chitchat". Favorite Episode... umm this week Mr. McBeevee. Makes me laugh and cry The Untrained Voice Maryellen--we are the Save Scobey Fund--in prayers _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://wbmutbb.com/mailman/listinfo/wbmutbb_wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
