In The Darling Fortune (the color episode in which Briscoe hopes to find brides for all four sons), the Darling boys are called Rodney, Doug, Mitch and Dean (their real first names). In their first episode, The Darlings are Coming, Doug was called Jebbin, and Dean was called Other, pronounced with a long O. Interestingly, in an early draft of the script for The Darlings are Coming, the boys were named Frankie, Jebbin, Ward, and Cobb.
