Well, I know that we once had Opie Taylor, Sr. running around during the Miracle Salve scandal. Of course, that was Gomer P. acting like he was Opie's dad. Then Floyd acted like he was the dad of Andy and Opie when he was the writer of untrue pen pal letters. (That was one time that Andy acted like he WASN'T Opie's dad!) Now, I can't really think of a third one, but this might just barely count - when Gomer joined the Marines, Andy tried to get Sgt. Carter to believe that Col. Pyle (or was it Gen. Pyle?) was Gomer's dad. Now, Col. Pyle didn't appear on the show as far as I remember, so he couldn't have masqueraded as Gomer's dad, and I'm not even sure that was a TAGS episode, but I think it was.
