After I took a closer look, it does look like a little girl in a cowboy outfit, but it was still hard to tell for sure, and in the book I have it said it is indeed Clint Howard. So we went directly to the source and emailed Clint Howard himself, who said it was not him on that calendar cause he would have only been a year old at the time when that episode was filmed. So I guess that settles it! Now if we could only find out who Mr. Shwump is...!
