I try to notice little trivial trivalities and inconsistantcies, but I usually
get caught up in the show and miss them. However, I was watching the color
episode where Howard caught Ol' Sam. Goober and Floyd were looking over their
fishing tackle and Goober was complaining about Floyd's cousin who'd fished
with them and was loud and splashy, which scared the fish. Floyd said it
wasn't his cousin, but his wife's cousin and she made him take him along.
Since this was after the Gay Deceiver episode, I figure they must have been
talking about a long past event or Floyd got another wife some time afterward.

PS: I agree with Laura Lee & Lydia. I also find it strange that Ramona
didn't remember Barney. I think it might have been she was pretending not to
know him because she didn't want her husband to know she'd been swooney over
another.
