The Summer Celebration Parade in Mechanicsburg, Ohio on Sat. at 2pm will feature a Mayberry Squadcar. It can be seen after and before the parade for photos. The car registration is for a 1958 Ford Fairlane. The car has a sticker on it from a dealer in Pilot Mt., NC. So this car may of come from there. I know it is hard to track any or none of the cars used on the show. But anyone around the area wanting to see one up close can here. It is owned by the Madison House Nursing Home in London, Ohio. The Home has a very Mayberry feel to it. Many rocking chairs on the front porch. Old music playing over the intercom. Mayberry photos along the walls. They use the car to promote it and also take residents rides. Many antiques inside also. Seems like a nice place for them to live.
