Andge in Bethlehem GA is correct and gets the ride in the Squad Car! Jack
Prince (Rafe Hollister) and Joanna Moore (Miss Peggy) are buried in the same
cemetery (Hillside Memorial Park, Redlands, California).
I ran into this little bit of trivia by accident while researching Joanna
Moore at findagrave.com when I checked for who else famous was buried in the
cemetery where she was. Up popped the name of Jack Prince which I recognized.
They were also both from the south, him from Louisiana and her from Georgia.
Sure ended up a long way from home!
Joanna had a rather sad end to her later days, she ended up with lung cancer
and from what I have been able to find was not doing real well financially
and her daughter Tatum Oneal bought a home for her and gave her an allowance
of $2,000 per month to live on in her final years. She should have married
Andy and settled down in Mayberry instead of marrying actor Ryan Oneal!
