Like everyone else, I also enjoy the Christmas story to the nth degree! However, I noticed something I had never seen before.....when Ben wanted in, and was looking around, he walked to the end of the courthouse, which was on his left. He then went to the back corner of the building and turned left, again the courthouse on his left. He would have had to go to the next corner and turn left again to get to the jail windows. He was then seen with the courthouse wall on his right, his access from the back of the courthouse blocked by a solid wall. When Andy came up on Ben he came from behind the camera so he came from the front door up the sidewalk with the courthouse on his right. How did Ben get there from going the opposite direction? Only thing I can figure is he turned around and went back the way he came! Point is, even a mean old man like Ben needs friends now and then! He really turned out to be the hero of the episode, as he brought presents for everyone, got none himself except a plate of food, and, he got rid of the evidence so the family could go home!! I hope everyone else is staying well. I have had a horrible cold the past week and now my wife has it. Ain't it nice when couples can share things?? Y'all have a great Mayberry day!
