I just recently joined and I can't tell you how much I enjoy receiving the mailing list. Its great being around so many TAGS fans. Due to health problems I have had to miss the last few Mayberry Days in Mount Airy I HAVE MISSED THE FELLOWSHIP. I live near Siler City, N.C. and was recently there to visit "Aunt Bee." There was a large jar of Mount Olive pickles someone had placed on her tombstone which seemed appropriate. Although it is not all complimentary, I enjoy hearing stories about her from the folks around Siler City. According to them she could be a pistol. Ron Howard and family stopped by to visit some years gefore she died (an aquaintance of mine showed them to her house) and she wouldn't answer the door! I was lucky enough to get a serving spoon from her silver set which she gave to one of her homehealth nurses. It is an importanrt part of my memorabilia. Thanks also to someone who mentioned the new Christmas Mayberry Collectible pieces. I have the old set but did not know about the new ones...I ordered immediately!! Thanks again for letting me take part. I'm retired due to a disability and it is a great comfort to me. Happy Holidays!
Bob J./Graham, N.C.
