Just thought I would share something with all of you. This summer the kids and I spent a couple of nights at the Taylor Home Inn. Before we left Marsha took some pictures of us in various areas of the house. She then put them on a disk that we could take home. I finally put one of the pictures of us standing in front of the fireplace on my computer at school as my background. It is so fun to be able to look at it and remember our vacation. The students in my classroom get a kick out of it, too! I teach 8th and 9th grade students with learning and behavioral disabilities. Most of them have a very sad home life. They are such sweet kids. I incorporate "Mayerry virtues" into my lessons whenever the opportunities arise. They all know my love for the show and frequently tease me about it, in a fun way. Please say a short prayer for my students this holiday season. Holidays are not particularly happy times for them. Thanks. Hope all of you are having a nice holiday weekend. Connie in Iowa
