I got to hear Gomer today and must say he blew me away. He sure does have a
"high roof to his mouth."
I knew he had nice speaking voice, but had no idea he could sing like that.
However, in the essence of fairness, I will hold an open audition before our
next practice Sunday night at Hazel's house. Again, please, don't tell
Barney. I like Barney and I don't want to hurt his feelings or get his hopes
up.
Again, early Merry Christmas, and I think last night's rehearsal was the
best yet. "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" is almost there. Once we add the
Tenor solo, it will be almost perfect.
"White Christmas," "No Place Like Home for the Holidays," and "I'll Be Home
for Christmas" were all really good for the first time through them.
Please be at rehearsal as we will introduce the rest of our music for the
Christmas Concert.
