Here is the story we did on the rock-throwing episode: Ernest T. Bass is now among the dearly departed so he can't be blamed as the person who threw rocks through the windows at the Concordia Sentinel office in Ferriday this weekend. One rock burst a light table on the inside, while glass was strewn throughout one end of the building. This is the third time since March that vandals or someone angry at the Sentinel has thrown rocks through the office windows. Ferriday Police don't know who the culprits are but are investigating. The Sentinel would like to see the bandits fingerprinted and ordered to pay restitution for the damage they have caused and would appreciate anyone with any information whatsoever about this to contact our office at 318-757-3646 or call the Ferriday police at 318-757-3606. The fear is that someone is going to get hurt while the reality is the hoodlums are damaging property as the cost for repairs is mounting.
