Hello Everyone,
With Mayberry Days just two months away (YES!) I received some discouraging
news this past week. My Father who has traveled with my wife Karen and myself
to the past 6 Mayberry Days will not be able to attend this year. Many of you
who have attended any of the "Mayberry in the Midwest" events may remember Bob
Bell - He is the artist who designed our "Mayberry in the Midwest" T-shirts and
prints for the event. He has a severe back problem which is going to require
surgery. The surgery is going to be in early August but the doctor has
informed him it will be a long recovery and he should not plan on making the
trip to Mayberry Days. We would appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers
during this time.
With Dad not being able to attend we have a pair of tickets for two of the
Mayberry Days events if anyone would be interested. The first pair is for
Saturday night's (7:30) "Colonel Tim's Talent Time" which is the highlight of
the weekend for us. The show highlights the many talents of our beloved Tribute
Artists, Mayberry Stars, local and national talent. If you have not been to
this fantastic show, you don't want to miss it. The seats are great: Section C
- Row - B Seats - 109 and 110. The cost for these is $25 each ($50 for the
pair) The second set of tickets is for the Golf Buffet Dinner, Awards and
Entertainment on Thursday evening at 5:00pm at the Cross Creek Country Club.
This is the "kick-off" of the Mayberry Days weekend and features an awesome
buffet meal, meeting the Mayberry Stars and great entertainment by our Tribute
Artists, Mayberry Stars and Special guests. The cost for this wonderful
evening is $30 per ticket ($60 for the pair) We would like to sell all the
tickets together. We will take care of the shipping costs. If you are
