Watching my DVD of "Andy Discovers America" and the blonde kid, he looks
familiar. The one sitting behind Johnny Paul (Keith Thibodeaux) in the
classroom. Was he also Benjy on LITB? He looks like an older version of
little Benjy, the boy who poured paint all over himself, in the episode
where Wally & the Beaver read Tom Sawyer.

Then watching "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs" and I saw Andy making Otis is hangover
cure (tho it wasn't called that. I recognized A-1 Steak Sauce, Lee &
Perrins Worcestershire Sauce (thank God for spell check), and Tabasco.
They'd blacked out the line on the bottle that read "Lee & Perrins" &
the A-1 part of that bottle, but they were recognizable. Andy was right
generous with the Tabasco, too. He must've poured 6 or 7 drops in that
glass. But later on in the episode Barney mentions something about
getting Otis's food at the Lunch Counter and Otis replied that the food
at the Lunch Counter was too spicy for him and his liver didn't like
spicy foods.

So 2 questions here: Where was the Lunch Counter and isn't this the only
episode that mentions it? Why not get Otis's food from the Bluebird
Diner or Mayberry hotel?

Also, if Otis's liver didn't like spicy foods, why'd he drink that vile
looking concoction Andy fixed for him? I reckon it was because Andy was
a better persuader than Barney.

Okay now watching the Big House episode. I accept Gomer as a deputy,
really I do. But why would Barney, such a stickler for law & order & so
fixated on minor details not tell Gomer to buckle is belt tighter? He
was about to lose his side arm the way that gun belt was hanging down
