I also prefer the b+w episodes. I think this is because TAGS, like most shows and genres, do their best work in the first few years of their existance. But there is one rather sizable group of people who seemed to have preferred the color episodes -- the people watching TV from 1961 - 1968. Amazingly, TAGS only finished first in the Neilson ratings one single year, and that was its last year, 1968. And that was a "color" year. As Woody Allen said, "The audience is always right."
