Subject: not so modern day TAGS
I remember Evening Shade very well, it was set in a town in Arkansas, my
home state, and the name was suggested by Hillary Clinton, because there
really is a town in north AR by that name.
It was a good clean show, very reminiscent of a modern day TAGS, except
casting Marilu Henner never really rang true I thought.
The characters were great, and one of the best things was that just like
TAGS, they didn't use those awful fake southern accents. I just hate it
when they do that. I can usually tell pretty much where someone if from by
their accent, there are many forms of a southern accent. The fake ones
never sound like anyone I have ever talked to in the south! There's more to
talking southern than dropping your "R's"
