I was watching the first disc of my season 6 dvds today and noticed that Andy said he had a bad day. When he gave the reasons for the bad day, one of them was due to Otis running his car over into someone's rose garden, and then wanting to fight when Andy arrested him. Hmmmm...I thought Otis wasn't going to drive anymore after that one try at car ownership. I know, I know the TAGS continuity wasn't really continuous, was it. Just an interesting thing I noticed. That one was a good episode. Andy learned just how good a job he and Aunt Bee had done raising Opie when Opie gave his job up so that the underprivileged boy (no, his name wasn't Horatio) could earn money to help his family.
I also watched the episode where Ernest T. wants to fight Malcolm Merriwether because he took E.T.'s job, and because Malcolm is an Englishter. I absolutely love that episode. It is soooo funny. Poor old Malcolm looked like he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag! But he was a big guy and I bet he could fight if he wanted to. Of course, E.T. was so fast and wiry that probably no one could catch him! I'm really enjoying my season 6 dvds and looking forward to the next seasons!
