It was in "Barney Mends a Broken Heart" when Peggy's old college friend drops in to visit her and Andy gets mad. When Barney comes over to Andy's house later with Lydia Crosswaithe and Thelma Lou, Thelma Lou's hair is not in a bun like it usually is. She has some of it up in a barrette, but the rest is down.
