Which reminds me... After our own Flora posted the news of Alberta Nelson's death, I wondered why we never saw her at any of the Mayberry events. I don't recall that this has ever been addressed on the digest, but was she ever approached about this? Or did she just not care to participate? Flora, did you ever have any personal contact with her? Did she know that she was represented by you as her tribute artist at various Mayberry events? Though Alberta was not a regular on TAGS, she did have some memorable appearances, and it seems a shame that we fans never had a chance to meet her in person. Just wondering...
