Season 4 discs have a sheriff's star on a wooden looking background. The fronts of the cases each have a big picture with a small insert at the bottom The first case has a counter top with a toaster, salt and pepper shakers, and a Snappy Lunch Diner menu. The second case has a countertop from Floyd's Barber Shop. There is a comb, sissors, hair tonic, a bill for $2.00 for Barneys hair cut, and lots of cut hairs laying around. The third case looks to be at the lake and there is a fishing bob, a lure, the tail of a fish, worms, a worm can, and a bucket laying on the dock. The backs of the cases have an image of "The Mayberry News" on them. Although if I remember right it was actually "The Mayberry Gazette". The disc contents are listed in the newspaper. Each disc has a different paper.
Case 1: Above the title it says Haunted House in City! On the top left it says Deputy Fife Rescues Andy The main story has a pic of Andy and Opie with Opie holding the cage of birds. The story below the picture tells of how Opie just got the birds the paper will report what the birds names will be once Opie names them. Case 2: Above the title it says Sheriff Andy saves Gomer fro...(the rest is cut off but we know it was from fire in filling station.) On the top left it says Sheriff Falls For Jewel Thief! The main story is titled Speeding Truckers on Highway 6! It has a picture of Barn and Andy on that famous motorcycle. The story below it is of course about Barns war against the speeding trucks trying to get over Turners Grade. Case 3: Above the title it says Fun Girls From Mount Pilot On the top left it has Sheriff Gets Engaged!
