Hey y'all...

Jethro Bodine... not yellin' BREAD and TATERS at the table!
Yeah, that KILLS me every time!!!!! I love that! Thanks for bringing it to
mind and giving me a smile today!

Man! There were some good ones in there... about the characters on TAGS that
inspire us.

I think K. Darden's "take" on Flora was really good. She was definitely a
little before her time with the jobs and the clothes. But, she admirably
didn't try to be a man or to take a man's place!!!

And... Eric in Memphis...
I agree... that part in "Man in a Hurry" was SO touching! And, as with so many
other scenes in TAGS, words were not needed. The quietness and the feeling
said so much more than any scripted words could have said. We could each put
that "what's really important?" question to our OWN individual lives... into
our own experiences... and into our own schedules. Thankfully, this show
reminds us to live our lives... not just allow them to pass by... to experience
and not just exist!

And, oh my word!
Paul... that is SUCH a good scene and quote!!!... the one in the Cow Thief
episode! I love that part when Barney says that to Andy!

AND...
Ron McLendon's input... that one always just gets to me!
I think that one line says so much about the Andy/Opie relationship. I love
that one!!! Oh, that we would each have a person in our lives who believed in
us enough to just BELIEVE in us... without reason, without proof, without
evidence, without logic... I do have that, and I hope that each of you do,
too!

How many of us could just go on and on, without end in sight, about the
wonderful morals and funny scenes and touching moments that we experience in
our beloved and precious Mayberry? How we love our friends... Andy, Opie, Aunt
Bee, Floyd "goin' to Nashville" Lawson, Gomer, Goober, Howard, Thelma Lou and
on and on and on...!

Y'all have a wonderful February!

Jenny Chapman
