"use Mayberry as our travel guide, what places do we have mentioned" In
reading the last digest, several people's posts reminded me of different places
mentioned. There's Texas, where Opie's friend Tex was headed. There's Mexico
where Aunt Bee and her friends visited a real "pharmacia". There's that old
Cascade Club in Toledo where Sally met Al. There's Malcolm's home country of
England and Warren's hometown of Boston. Also County Cork, Ireland where
Malcolm's mother was reportedly from. Germany where that WWII vet (from the
wrong side) was from. Asia where Aunt Bee's restaurant partners were from.
The Moon - boy, you're already there. There are a couple I'm not sure if they
were from TAGS or Mayberry RFD. There's Wheeling where Millie, Howard, Andy
and Helen were going and there's Washington DC where Emmit and Martha wanted to
vacation.
