I always read with envy about y'all's children quoting a line from TAGS. I tried to raise my daughter right and when she was young, she was well-versed in all things TAGS. But she's a grown woman now, married with children of her own and I had just about given up. I throw out lines - hoping she'll pick up on them, but she never does. Now, however, I have bragging rights. The other day the 20-month-old was pitching her umpteenth hissy fit of the day and my daughter, who normally has infinite patience with her children, said, "Oh, pipe down Otis!" I could have cried I was so proud.
