One of the scenes that ranks way up there on the Funny-o-meter is from the
episode where Gomer joins the Marines. He comes running out last among the
new recruits, dropping his gear, and Sgt. Carter yells "Come on Pyle...My
Grandma moves faster than that!!!" Gomer just looks at him so seriously and
says
"Well Bless Her Heart!"
That's one of those classic moments that makes me laugh out loud no matter
how many times I've seen it.
